Anything not distracting to the group’s focus and intent is fine, they should just keep in mind that sometimes writers will look for excuses not to work and we’re there to find fuel rather than enticing excuses to do other things). Nonwriting participates will not need to pay for an additional bed (if bed/room sharing) but would pay for the group food cost.
Community offering:
Do you have something you’d like to share with the group? Perhaps lead a workshop (areas with * open to a leader) or share an additional talent? If you’d like to share your talents in some way, let us know and we’ll put you on the weekend schedule. Depending on if you do professional services (massage, reiki, etc.) you could also suggest typical fees/costs so others could be prepared if they sign up or if you just want to offer something up (lead a workshop, lead a jam night or play some singalong tunes, read some tarot cards, or prep a special group meal at home and bring it along) we welcome your talent ideas during the free time portions of the weekend.
COVID-19 precautions:
• If you are eligible, get fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Wait 2 weeks after getting your second vaccine dose to travel—it takes time for your body to build protection after any vaccination. We will ask that you are either vaccinated OR
• Get tested with a viral test 1-3 days before you travel. Keep a copy of your test results with you during travel in case you are asked for them. Do NOT travel if you test positive.
