Come to the Inkpressed Poetry events in Sackets Harbor where I will take your theme, idea, or keyword and turn it into an original work of art you can take with you. I will be writing at my typewriter on Main Street on special Saturdays and Sundays this summer. Come, share your ideas, learn about the writing process, and within minutes take your own keepsake poem home to enjoy. First Friday (postponed until further notice)
Sackets Harbor, NY
Each event will showcase a blend of music and the spoken word (readings from poetry, fiction, nonfiction, plays, humor, or experimental pieces). Performers will include at least one original piece in their 15-20 min performances. A couple of people will be featured each month, with time available afterwards for open mic or jamming out.
When? The first Friday of the month. Arrive around 7:30. First performer starts at 8:00. Short breaks in between.
