Christie Grimes

Christie Grimes teaches writing at SUNY Jefferson and has led writing workshops and craft seminars for Black River Writers and Fort Drum’s women’s conference. She also hosts the North Country Writers Festival in Watertown, NY, annually, as well as the monthly reading and performance series, First Fridays, in Sackets Harbor, NY.
Grimes’ stories have been published in journals such as Harpur Palate and Passages North. Christie Grimes is currently at work on a collection of stories and a supernatural thriller set in Sackets Harbor, NY. Her narrative poetry collection, Finding Fruit Among Thorns, and her chapbook, Last to Leave, are now available via Jane's Boy Press and national booksellers.
